The fifth Annual ICT Fest in Antigua and Barbuda had something very special to offer: Recycling Awareness. Many visitors were drawn to this distinguished looking throne, many inquired of the material it was made off. Some guessed that it was gift wrap paper, others said it was made from "sweetie" paper and others were simple mystified or clueless.
ABWREC proudly presented their throne called "Can de Aluminum". This creation comprised of 16,000.00 aluminum cans and was designed and built by Ellen Shipley of SearchAntigua Inc and Carol-Faye George of ABWREC. This collaborated effort not only demonstrated recycling but another of the four "R"s "Reusing".
The aim of the display was to create awareness pertaining to recycling and moreso the quantity of cans (aluminum) we consume. The ICT Fest made it clear that Recycling goes digital with the website wwww.abwrec.com created by Search Antigua Inc
