Education for Advancement Open House Week 2010

Education is vital to the socio-economic development of any community. The extent of education opportunities is no longer limited by locally available institutions and to individuals who are able to travel overseas to attend an institution of learning. ICT developments have enabled the use of technology as the platform to deliver an extensive range of learning opportunities to facilitate human resource development at significantly reduced cost and without the dislocation and expenses associated with overseas study.
Education for Advancement (EFA) will host Open House Week 2010 from June 24 – June 30 2010 to sensitise the community on range of programmes available for study. The objectives of Open House Week 2010 are: to sensitise the general public on the importance of education as a tool for national and personal development; to heighten awareness of distance learning opportunities available; to sensitise the wider community of the range of opportunities available locally and regionally to finance your education; and to provide students with the tools to be able to make the best choice for the professional development.
