Island Aviation Aero Club lands in aircraft one of 5 aircrafts

The owners of Island Aviation Aero Club, Incorporated in Antigua and Delaware have been sucessful in bring in their first of 5 airplanes. The club now has a Cessna 172 aircraft purchased in the U.S.A.
Owners of the club, Joseph Doway and Lloyd Sheppard stated that this is the beginning of a new era in aviation partnership and camaraderie. Club members have been able to receive flight training, while other pilots have done check rides and even rented the airplane for journeys to Guadeloupe and St. Martin.

The club plans to step up to the plate by providing the best in training "Private Pilot" to its club members.

Island Aviation Aero Club is an Associate member of Antigua Hotel and Tourist Association. The club is located at Runway 10, Gate 9, V.C. Bird International Airport, Shell Beach Road, St. Georges, Antigua, W.I.

New club members are signing up daily and that is the reason for the additional airplanes. By the end of May 2010, the club will begin selling aircrafts to interested parties and individuals in the region.
