Klaus Ken Shipley is an entrepreneur, well known for his web design and graphic art work. Before building his company, Search Antigua Inc., he developed many websites for local businesses and the government of Antigua and Barbuda. As a young man, Ken Shipley got his first break in the technology business when he became the Webmaster for a popular online casino. He controlled the companies’ websites, maintained their high standards and spearheaded development work on new projects. As time progressed, he became a freelance web designer, where he developed numerous websites for businesses locally and within the region under thinredline Designs.

After years of building websites Ken partnered with Google to create the VERY FIRST Search Engine for Antigua and Barbuda, www.searchantigua.com under the new company Search Antigua Inc. In a short time span, Search Antigua Inc already made a name by building websites such as www.antiguamangofest.com, www.abwrec.com,

www.theantiguan.com and much more.

Ken Shipley is not only passionate about The Internet World but also the upbringing and education of the younger generation. “It is important to set an example for the youth and recognize their talents as well. We need to build this new and younger generation together. Together you achieve more,” Shipley says. He is very active in the community as a Lion Member and supports the Recycle program put in place in Antigua and Barbuda.

To date, Ken Shipley manages Search Antigua Inc with a total of 4 full time staff and a variety of consultants trained in Web Design, Videography and online Marketing. Search Antigua Inc received an Award for Entrepreneur of Antigua and Barbuda in 2008 and recently received a Rotary International Award for assisting in the online presence of the Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown on the World Wide Web.
