Christian Valley Mango Festival Public Relations Committee presenting at ICT Montserrat

Technologies as it relates to small business opportunities and agro-processing was key area of presentation, when officials from the Christian Valley Mango Festival Public Relations Committee, participated, in the recent Information Communication and Technology road show, in Monsterrat.

Representing, the Public relations Committee were Ken Shipley, of Search Antigua and Julie –Ann Laudat, IICA, Technical Specialist.

According to Shipley, the Antigua Mango fest participants facilitated the conference on small business opportunities using ICT.

Officials from the Christian Valley Mango Festival Public Relations (P.R) Committee, will join, senior members of government from Antigua & Barbuda and Bermuda Thursdays, during the ICT Roadshow in Montserrat.

Ken Shipley, Web Development Expert, of Search Antigua Limited and Julie-Ann Laudat, IICA, Technical Specialist will showcase the Antigua Mango Fest 2010, with specific focus, on the advanced technological promotion and the diversification and utilization of the product.

Shipley plays an integral part in the website development, and promotion of Mango Fest Festival.

ICT Roadshow creators call for Montserratians to innovate

BRADES, Montserrat (March 25, 2010) – “We must innovate,” says Bernadette Lewis, Secretary General of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) to attendees at the Executive Lecture Forum on Wednesday morning at the Montserrat Cultural Centre.

Lewis heads the organization which is spearheading a regional tour promoting the use of information communication technology (ICT). The Caribbean ICT Roadshows began last July and so far six nations have held roadshows.

Chief Minister Meade to champion ICT Roadshow initiative in the region

BRADES, Montserrat (January 28, 2010) – Chief Minister Reuben T. Meade says he will champion the cause of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) on a regional level.

Speaking to Bernadette Lewis, Head of the CTU who visited the island this week to look at plans for hosting the ICT Roadshow in Montserrat, the chief minister said his government was committed to promoting the use of communications technology on all levels.
